Privacy Policy
Gym Progress Tracker ("the App") is published by Technaharia ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it when you use our Android application and website.
1. Data stored on your device
By default, your workouts, nutrition logs, body measurements, progress photos, and settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage (Room database and app files). We do not upload this fitness content to our servers unless you explicitly use optional account or Pro cloud features described below.
2. Account and optional cloud services
If you sign in or purchase Pro, we may process:
- Email address and display name (for account authentication)
- Subscription status and purchase verification tokens (via Google Play)
- Encrypted backup metadata (not your raw workout diary content in readable form on our servers)
- Device identifier for Pro device limits and security
- Feedback you submit voluntarily (category, message, app version, device model)
3. Google services
Sign-in and Google Drive sync use Google OAuth and Google Drive APIs. Google's privacy policy applies to those services. We only request scopes needed for sign-in and optional Drive backup.
4. Payments
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your card or UPI details. We may receive purchase tokens to verify Pro entitlement.
5. Advertising
Free users may see banner ads served by Google AdMob. Pro subscribers do not see in-app ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data according to Google's privacy policy. You can control ad personalization in your device Google settings.
6. Data retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear app data. Account data on our servers is retained while your account is active. To delete your account, follow the steps on our account deletion page or contact admin@technaharia.in.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices including HTTPS, encrypted token storage on device, and encrypted backups where applicable. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
8. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
